What it is

Off the plate: bread, pasta, most baked goods, most beer, and anything built on wheat, barley, or rye flour. Staying on the plate is most of the grocery store: meat, fish, eggs, dairy, fruit, vegetables, legumes, nuts, rice, corn, potatoes, and quinoa are all naturally gluten-free.

The improvement is real; the attribution is usually wrong.

For general health in people without celiac, the case is weak.
